Our Fees

Our Professional Service Fee covers the functions that need to be performed to operate as a funeral home. It not only covers the upkeep of our vehicles, premises and utilities, it also covers our staffing costs. This may include the work and time in preparing your loved one in our mortuary, our administrative staff that will attend to, and process, the relevant legal documents for statutory purposes (e.g. preparation of the Burial and Cremation Form, preparation and registration of the Record of Death with the Dept. of Births, Deaths and Marriages, etc.), it covers our time to arrange the funeral (e.g. liaising with the clergy or celebrant, florist, caterers, cemetery or crematorium agents, our advice on religious and ceremonial requirements in relation to viewings and other customs prior to, during and after the funeral, and insertion of published and online death and funeral notices, etc.). 

The administration fee relates to administration of accounts including invoices with third parties on your behalf, the creation, management and collection of your funeral invoice and general administrative costs such as printing and telephone calls.
